Just recently becoming a parent (to twins), I saw the little book and skimmed through it and thought it would be a good read and I was right.Just as the title reads, it is just TIPS, and should not be looked at as a reference manual. It had some really good tips that as a first time parent, I appreciate. There is just so much information out there that it was nice to read a book that has a clear, simple and light-hearted tone and very helpful at the same time.Pick up the book if you have a chance, even at your local library. It’s entertaining and lets face it, if you are anywhere near as busy as I am with my children, this size book is all you will really have time to read anyway.
Also, I noticed that they have a new little book for each stage of your child’s development, so I will be picking those up as well.
“Baby Tips” comprises four volumes of warm, clever suggestions and advice for new parents–with more than 125 tips in each book. This volume covers such basics as soothing a crying baby, when to schedule checkups, getting your baby to sleep through the night, and how to recognize the start of a growth spurt.
